Meet the Team
Kim Reynolds  Certified Orthodontic Assistant Kim has been with our practice for more than 20 years. She is the veteran of the group! Her favorite thing about working in our office is the relationships she builds with our patients. Kim loves to see patients' eyes light up the day they get their braces off. It is a great celebration in our practice! Kim and her husband Rob live in Raleigh with their dog Gigi . Kim loves to go to the beach and sit and relax with her family. Kim is our most thorough assistant. She is kind and considerate and our patients often request her first to work on them. Karen Duckett  Office Administration and Insurance Coordinator Karen has been with our practice for over 20 years. She loves meeting different people every day and seeing those beautiful smiles. Her favorite thing about working in our office is the great relationship she has with her coworkers and the patients. "I really like all of the different aspects of my job. It keeps me from getting bored!" Karen and her husband Mike are proud parents of twin teenage girls, along with 2 cats and 1 dog. Karen is our shy girl at work. She is easy going and friendly and all of the parents love to chat with her. When Karen is out of the office, she and her family love to kayak and fish. Donna Wolfe  Communications Coordinator Donna has worked with our practice for over 19 years. She loves working with our patients and their families. Donna's favorite thing about working in our office is helping that one patient that feels so hopeless about their smile. It is so rewarding to watch their attitudes and self esteem transform with their smile. When not at work, you can find Donna spending time with her husband and two boys at the lake. Donna is the team member that is always talking to parents, patients, coworkers, doctors, neighbors, or just about anyone who will listen. Donna Myrick  Office Manager Donna also has been with the practice for almost 20 years. She enjoys working with our patients and parents to achieve the beautiful smiles we strive so hard to create. Donna feels the best thing about working here is the fun we have together and the people we get to work with. Donna is married and has 2 children, 2 grandchildren, and 3 cats. She enjoys exercising and spending time outdoors. Donna enjoys spending time with our patients and their families. She has a big heart for the moms and babies that come in. Tammy Hamilton  Certified Orthodontic Assistant Tammy has been with our practice for over 18 years. Tammy's favorite thing about working in orthodontics is the look on our patients' faces the day they get their braces off and see their perfect smile for the first time! Tammy has three beautiful girls with beautiful smiles. They live in Franklinton with her husband Bryan and their two cat children, Toby and Izzy. Tammy is affectionately known as the "Tamminator" by our staff and patients. Look out! She is always up to something! Carol Longmire Certified Orthodontic Assistant  Carol has been in orthodontics for more than 20 years. We have had the wonderful opportunity to share over 8 of those years with her here at Brunk and Laster Orthodontics. Her favorite thing about her job is the family atmosphere we all foster. She loves to see the changes in our patients' self esteem as their smiles get better and better each visit. Carol is married and has 2 girls, 1 dog, and 1 cat. She is our most enthusiastic employee during ACC Tournament time! You never know what costume she will show up wearing. Amy Cash Office Administration  Amy has worked with our office for over 6 years. She came here with a smile that she was not excited to show off. Now she has a beautiful smile that lights up our front office and it is her favorite thing about working in orthodontics! Amy loves interacting with our patients and their families. Amy and her husband live in Bunn with their sweet kitty, Sunny. Amy enjoys hiking, camping, and just hanging out with friends and family. Our Zebulon patients especially love Amy, so much so that they are disappointed when she goes on vacation. Yvette Smith  Certified Orthodontic Assistant Yvette has been with our practice for over 6 years. She loves working one on one with our patients and loves the fun, friendly relationship she has developed with her coworkers. We strive hard to work together as a family unit both in and out of the office. When not at work, Yvette likes to spend time with her daughter doing fun things. She and her daughter Kaylah live in Raleigh. Yvette's coworkers think her best quality is the attention she pays to the details within our practice. Daisha Delawter  Lab Technician and Chairside Assistant Daisha is working on her second year with Brunk and Laster Orthodontics. She joined us from Michigan where she worked in another orthodontic practice. Daisha enjoys working with our patients and helping to create beautiful smiles. Her favorite thing is to see patients from start to finish, especially when they see their teeth for the very first time. Daisha loves bowling, watching movies, and walking on the beach. Although she was raised in Michigan, she has a thick southern accent! We really aren't sure how that happened, but we like it! Kate Genty  Registered Dental Assistant Kate is in her first year of joining our orthodontic team. She loves working in orthodontics because the patients are the best. She enjoys the fun atmosphere in our practice and also working with such a great staff. When she is not working to make our patients smile, she is running marathons, traveling, and hanging out with her dog, Sierra. Kate is great one on one with our patients. She tries hard to establish relationships with them the first time she meets them. Michele Friedlein  NP Coordinator Michelle is also in her first year with Brunk and Laster Orthodontics. She enjoys working with our New Patients because she has the opportunity to share with them the rewards of a beautiful smile. She is the proud mom of two boys and an avid Triathelete.
